Both for the SMP program itself, and the vicarage applications (x2) as well… I suppose they really want a person to be certain they want to pursue this. Today was my first meeting with the seminary admissions office. It went very well and I was encouraged by our conversation. The three pastors attended as well as myself and we had many of our questions answered by Joel. After brief introductions by both Joel and myself we discussed various things concerning the SMP program.

The answer is a resounding YES! And the question: Was whether or not to engage in the Specific Ministry Pastor program and send me to seminary, through this program, to become first, a Vicar and then in two-ish years time – Pilgrim’s pastor.
