As part of the application we (the pastors and I) had to provide a list of duties/roles I’d be fulling in the near future. This is that list. It”s a start and may not be complete.
(These needs/duties to be added as appropriate and when eligible)
Assist in worship – often.
Read Gospel on Sundays.
Preach (when eligible) 1x month.
Wednesday PM service (assist/preach).
Help develop Sunday services (bulletin).
Teach – confirmation.
Conduct Bible studies.
Visitations with pastors.
Connect with youth program.
Connect with men’s ministry.
Be connected with congregation Board of Directors.
Be connected with congregation Board of Elders.
Chapel time with Preschool.
Attend staff meetings.
Help develop monthly newsletter.
Attend pastors conferences.
Attend circuit meetings.
Associate with other local SMP pastors.
Associate with other local congregations as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned, as education proceeds.
